You do not have to remember to take backups. Every night we automatically take a copy of your web hosting, so you can go back to an earlier day if something is deleted, a plugin breaks the site, or you are hacked.

Nightly backup and self-service restore are included in all web hosting plans: Starter, Pro, Business and Max.
See your backups
Step 1: Open Backup
Click Web hosting in the left-hand menu, and choose Backup.
Step 2: Choose a tab
At the top you can switch between Web hosting, Database and Website. Each tab shows its own backups.
Step 3: Read the list
The table shows Time, Type and Content. The type is Nightly for the automatic backups and Manual for the ones you have ordered yourself with Back up now.
If you have just become a customer, it says No backups yet. The first backup is taken during the first night.
Other safety nets

Does backup cost extra?
No. Nightly backup and self-service restore are included in the price of all paid web hosting plans. Backups are kept for 30 days – 90 days with Max.
How long are backups kept with Max?
With Max, backups are kept for 90 days. Starter, Pro and Business keep them for 30 days.
Can you restore something older than 30 days?
No. Backups are deleted automatically after 30 days – after 90 days with Max – and cannot be retrieved after that.
Does the free plan include backup?
No. Backup and restore belong to the Starter, Pro, Business and Max web hosting plans.
