What you get

  • No cookies

The script sets no cookies. Visitors who have turned on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted.

  • Follows your cookie banner

If your website has a cookie banner, a visitor is only counted after accepting analytics. Without a banner, only page views are counted, with no sources or visits.

  • The essentials on one page

Total visits, the daily average, your best day, a day-by-day chart and lists of sources, most visited pages and devices.

How to get started

  1. Publish your website

Analytics are added to your website the next time you publish it on a plan that includes analytics.

  2. Open Analytics

Log in to the control panel and choose Statistics in the menu. If you have several hosting accounts or domains, pick the right one at the top.

  3. Choose a period

    Choose 7, 30 or 90 days.

  4. Read the figures

See visits, your best day and the trend day by day. Once there is enough data, sources, pages and devices are shown too.

Included in these plans

Questions and answers

Which plan includes analytics?

Analytics are included from Starter. The free plan does not include them.

Do the analytics cover WordPress too?

No. Today they cover websites made with the website builder.

Why are the numbers different from Google Analytics?

The analytics count a visit when someone arrives on your website from somewhere else, and they do not recognise the same person again because they use no cookies. Google Analytics counts by its own rules, so the figures rarely match exactly.

Should I mention the analytics in my privacy policy?

Yes. Even though no cookies are used, your privacy policy should say that you measure visits with Sitewig's built-in analytics.
