What do you get with Sitewig hosting?
Web hosting is the space on a server where your website, databases and email live. At Sitewig the three share one storage pool: Starter has 15 GB, Pro 50 GB, Business 100 GB and Max 200 GB. You can see your usage in the control panel, and new content is only blocked once 95% of the storage is in use.
Every plan includes WordPress, SSH and SFTP, a choice of PHP version, WordPress staging, free SSL and daily backups you can restore yourself. From Pro you also get automatic WordPress updates and a nightly malware scan. Business adds priority support and on-demand backups, and Max adds agency mode and 90-day backups.

Questions about web hosting
How many websites can I host?
Starter has room for 1 website and 1 domain. Pro has 5, Business 10 and Max 25 websites and domains. You can move to a bigger plan when you need more.
Is storage shared between website and email?
Yes. Your website, databases and email share the plan's storage, so space goes where you need it. Each mailbox has a fixed size: 3 GB on Starter, 5 GB on Pro, 10 GB on Business and 25 GB on Max.
How do backups work on the hosting plans?
We back up files, databases and email every day and keep them for 30 days, or 90 days on Max. You restore them yourself from the control panel. On Business and Max you can also take an extra backup whenever you need one.
Can I choose the PHP version?
Yes. You choose the PHP version in the control panel. It applies to the whole hosting account, so every website on it runs the same version.
What happens when the first months are over?
You then pay the normal price for 12 months at a time, e.g. £1.99/mo for Starter. The price does not go up after the first year. Domains are always charged at their own price and are not part of the introductory offer.
Can you help me move my website to Sitewig hosting?
Yes. Moving is free with our migration guide or help from support. If you also transfer the domain, you only pay the domain's next year; the transfer itself is free.
