Each domain ending is run by its own registry. Some registries require extra details about the domain owner before the domain can be registered. Sitewig checks these requirements before you pay, so your order doesn't get stuck afterwards.
How it works when you order
- If a detail is missing, the order asks for exactly that field. The Pay button stays disabled until the field is filled in.
- If an ending can't be registered for you at all, e.g.
.nofor a company outside Norway, it's shown as not available to buy, with the reason next to it.
The domain ending requirements

Where do I fill in the details?
- When you order: in the field the order shows.
- Later: under Domains → Owner details (the card with the domain owner) or under Settings → Domain owner and customer details.
- If a registration has already failed because a detail was missing: add it under Domains → Owner details and click Try again on the domain.
How do you protect my ID number?
Your ID number, such as a CPR number, is stored encrypted. It's only sent to the domain registry to register the domain, and afterwards it's only shown masked, so you only see the last two digits.
