- You enter into an agreement directly with Punktum dk, and Sitewig and Openprovider manage the domain as registrar.
- You must complete Punktum dk’s ID check before the deadline, otherwise the domain is suspended and deleted.
- You are free to change registrar and to cancel the domain directly with Punktum dk.
- Sitewig provides the domain as a reseller for the accredited registrar Openprovider, and the domain is registered in your name as the registrant.

The domain is registered in your name as the registrant. Your details must be correct and kept up to date, and the whole period is paid when you order.

Confirm your identity with Punktum dk
Punktum dk asks for an ID check with MitID or another ID. Complete it before the deadline, otherwise the domain is suspended and deleted.
How to transfer a .dk domain to Sitewig

The domain stays in your name
The transfer follows Punktum dk’s rules, and the domain remains registered in your name.
- The transfer is free (€0).
- If you later want to move the domain away, we hand over the auth code or complete the transfer within 5 days, unless the registry’s rules prevent it.
Renewal and expiry
- The domain renews automatically for 1 year at a time unless you switch automatic renewal off.
- We send reminders about 30 and 7 days before expiry and again within 5 days after expiry if the domain has not been renewed.
- Domains are not covered by introductory offers or the 30-day guarantee.
- If the domain is not renewed, it expires and the registry’s rules on grace period, restore and deletion apply. Once the domain has been deleted, others can register it.
