Questions about domains
How many domain extensions can I buy?
You can buy 29 extensions, such as .com, .eu, .co.uk, .de and .dk, also as an individual. See every price on the domain price list.
Why does renewal sometimes cost more than the first year?
Domain prices follow the price we pay our registrar, and some extensions have a lower first-year price. The price list shows the first year and the renewal side by side.
Does my domain renew automatically?
Yes, unless you turn it off. We send a reminder about 30 and 7 days before the domain expires.
Who owns the domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your own name with the registrar Openprovider, for which Sitewig is a reseller.
Can I transfer my domain away again?
Yes. We hand over the transfer code or complete the transfer within 5 days, unless the registry's rules prevent it.
Who can register a .eu domain?
Citizens, residents and businesses in the EU and EEA. Other extensions have their own rules, which we list in our domain terms.
