What Free is, and what it isn't
Free is Sitewig's free edition of the website builder. It costs nothing and never expires. You get 1 website with up to 5 pages and 1 GB of storage, on a Sitewig address.
Free does not include your own domain, email, backups, an online shop or booking, and the “Made with Sitewig” badge is shown on the website. If you want your own address, such as yourcompany.com, you need a paid plan from Starter.
Free is not the same as the 3 free months. The free months apply to the paid plans: you get the whole plan without paying for 3 months, and then you pay for 12 months at a time, e.g. €3.06/mo for Starter. Domains are always charged at their own price.

Yes. Free costs nothing and never expires. You only pay if you choose a paid plan yourself.
Can I use my own domain with Free?
No. On Free your website lives on a Sitewig address. Your own domain requires a paid plan from Starter (€3.06/mo), and the domain is charged at its own yearly price.
Can I remove “Made with Sitewig”?
Not on Free. The badge can be removed on every paid plan from Starter.
Do I get email with Free?
No. Free has no mailboxes. Email on your own domain is included in the hosting plans from Starter or in a standalone email plan.
Do you back up my free website?
No, Free has no daily backups. You can go back to one of the last 10 versions of the website. Daily backups for 30 days are included in every paid plan.
What is the difference between Free and the free months?
Free is a free edition with fixed limits that never expires. The 3 free months are an introductory offer on the paid plans: the whole plan without paying for 3 months, then the normal price for 12 months at a time.
