What does it cost to move a domain to Sitewig?

Moving a domain to Sitewig is free: the transfer itself costs nothing, whether you order it with a plan or in the control panel. You only pay when the domain is due for renewal. .dk domains are moved manually via support. Sitewig's domain prices follow what we pay the registrar Openprovider, with no markup.

The transfer is free. Below is the renewal price per domain per year, shown for your market in your currency. The prices follow the registrar's prices and are updated daily.

There is no low introductory price that rises afterwards – renewal always costs what we pay for that extension. You can find the current price list on the Domain prices page, and you start the transfer on the Transfer domain page.

When do you pay?

• The transfer: Free. You pay nothing to move the domain, whether you add it to the basket together with a plan or order the transfer under Domains → Add domain → Transfer a domain to Sitewig in the control panel.
• Renewal: The domain renews automatically every year at the renewal price until you cancel it.
• Rejected transfer: If the registry rejects the transfer, the domain stays with the old provider and you owe Sitewig nothing.

Is the transfer really free?

Yes, for every extension. You only pay the domain's yearly renewal – for a .com domain that is currently €12.29/yr incl. VAT.

What does a .dk domain cost afterwards?

Moving .dk domains is handled manually: contact support and we'll help you. Once the domain is with Sitewig, you pay at renewal, currently €9.83/yr incl. VAT per year.
